Account Deletion Request

Count Us In is developed by C.T.Blunt. We respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how to delete your account and what happens to your data.

Delete Your Account In-App

The easiest way to delete your account is directly within the Count Us In app. You can delete your account at any time by following these steps:

  1. Open the Count Us In app and log in to your account
  2. Go to Profile & Settings
  3. Scroll down to Support & Legal
  4. Tap Delete My Account
  5. Read the information about what will be deleted
  6. Type "delete" to confirm
  7. Tap the Delete My Account button

✓ Instant Processing: When you delete your account in-app, the deletion is processed immediately and all your data is permanently removed from our servers.

Alternative: Request Deletion via Email

If you prefer to request account deletion outside of the app, or if you no longer have access to the app, you can send us an email request. Please follow these steps:

  1. Send an email request to our support team at support@countusin.app with the subject line "Account Deletion Request"
  2. Include the following information in your email:
    • The email address associated with your Count Us In account
    • Your account name (if different from email)
    • Confirmation that you want to permanently delete your account
  3. Verify your identity - We may ask you to confirm your identity to prevent unauthorized deletion requests
  4. Receive confirmation - We will process your request within 30 days and send you a confirmation email once completed

⚠️ Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. You will lose access to all your events, contacts, and friend groups. For immediate deletion, please use the in-app deletion feature described above.

When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed from our systems:

Alternative: Temporary Deactivation

If you're not ready for permanent deletion, you can temporarily deactivate your account by logging out and not using the app. Your data will remain secure and you can return at any time.

Note: Currently, Count Us In does not offer a formal "deactivation" feature separate from deletion. Simply stop using the app if you want to take a break.
